Can I Experience Adventure?
Q: Are my children old enough?
We can take children age 4 and older on activities. Rock climbing, gorge scrambling and canoeing are particularly well suited to families with young children.
Q: I'm not very fit, will I be able to go on an adventure?
Yes, most activities should be fine and some of the activities are in fact rather relaxing! Canoeing, abseiling and gorge scrambling are usually very easy going. We always tailor the adventure to suit the needs of the group, if you're an adventurous bunch we can make it more challenging, if it's a chilled day out you would like we can tone it down and make things a bit more relaxed.
Q: I can't swim, can I still get in the water?
Of course! We always provide everyone with a buoyancy-aid for ALL of our water-based activities. You don't need to be able to swim because you will float. We have had a lot of people who can't swim go canyoning etc, once you realise you float no matter what, it's great fun in the river!
Q: Do I need any experience?
No, all of our activities are instructor led. We give you all the safety equipment and instruction you will need. If you do have experience, let us know; we can tailor the day to suit your experience-level.
Q: What happens if I get scared half-way through an activity?
We don't force you to do anything! We give you the encouragment and confidence you need to help you achieve your potential but if you really don't want to do something that's fine, we can just avoid it.
